Versiti Blood Research Institute in Michigan is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to perform phlebotomy, interact with donors, and support the mobile collection program. You will drive the mobile unit, ensure donor safety, and maintain accurate records while delivering extraordinary donor experiences.

The role requires early morning to evening shifts, weekend availability, and a commitment to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant people-facing experience preferred.
• Less than 1 year job-related experience required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and donor screening with a focus on donor safety and comfort.
• Set up collection site and equipment, including technology systems.
• Operate mobile drive vehicle safely with required DOT compliance.
• Re-book donors for future appointments and maintain donor records.
• Respond to donor questions and assist with appointments as needed.
• Support team culture and collaboration on daily tasks.
