Job summary

Versiti is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to support mobile donation operations in Dayton. You will operate a mobile van, transport staff and supplies, and ensure a safe, high-quality donor experience.

Responsibilities include donor screening, phlebotomy, and coordinating with coordinators, while upholding DOT guidelines and company safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant people-facing experience preferred.
• Less than 1 year job-related experience required.
• Knowledge of SOPs, safety rules, and procedures is required.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and manuals; strong math and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van, transports staff, supplies, and equipment.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Provides excellent donor service and handles inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Recruits and converts donors for automation (Alyx/Trima) where applicable.
• Maintains a positive team culture and supports coworkers with respectful behaviors.
• Ensures product integrity, equipment maintenance, and records; may pack units for transport.
• May be subject to background checks as required by sponsor.
