Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Ohio seeks a Donor Driver to operate the mobile van, screen donors, and perform phlebotomy while delivering excellent donor experiences. You will load supplies, transport staff safely, and maintain equipment with attention to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant people-facing experience preferred; less than 1 year required.
• Ability to operate a mobile van and follow safety/operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating the mobile van and transports staff safely.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at the mobile site, including tech systems.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers exceptional donor service and handles inquiries with courtesy.
• May assist automation (Alyx/Trima) and recruits donors for automation.
• Maintains equipment, completes records, and promotes a positive team culture.
• Rebooks donors for future appointments and complies with regulatory requirements.
