Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is seeking a Donor Driver to support mobile donation efforts. You will operate the mobile van, transport staff and supplies, and perform phlebotomy and donor screening while delivering exceptional donor service.

Responsibilities include loading gear, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance with DOT guidelines. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of people-facing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years relevant, people-facing experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver license and cargo certification.
• Ability to operate a mobile DOT vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a mobile van and transports staff and supplies.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at the mobile site with equipment.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers excellent donor service and handles inquiries professionally.
• Recruits donors for automation and maintains a positive team culture.
• Maintains records, updates equipment, and ensures donor safety.
