Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Michigan is seeking a Donor Driver to join our team. Under supervision, you will perform phlebotomy collection, interact with donors to deliver an outstanding donation experience, and transport staff and supplies to mobile sites.

You will set up equipment, conduct medical interviews for donor eligibility, and maintain safety as you operate vehicles per DOT guidelines. This role requires flexibility for shift variations and a strong team mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy or donor center experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in a customer-facing role preferred, 0–1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent donor service and answer donor inquiries professionally.
• Set up collection site and equipment, ensure safety and readiness.
• Operate mobile drive vehicle following DOT guidelines.
• Perform donor screening, venipuncture, and donor eligibility assessments.
• Rebook donors for future appointments and support a positive team culture.
