Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks three full-time Peer Recovery Specialists for the Addiction Research and Treatment Services Adult Outpatient Program. The MMU travels across the metro Denver area with onsite work in Denver, Aurora, and Arvada clinics and occasional shifts at ARTS locations.

The role requires strong communication, outreach, data recording, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working with patients and connecting them to resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Peer Specialist and educator to improve outcomes for patients entering care via the MMU and clinics.
• Identify problems in coordination of services and ensure duties benefit patients.
• Conduct structured, peer-led interventions focusing on health education and care coordination.
