Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking three full-time Peer Recovery Specialists for the Medication Mobile Unit and ARTS Adult Outpatient Program. Roles include outreach, case management, and coordinating care across Denver, Aurora and Arvada clinics, with occasional MMU deployment.

Responsibilities cover peer-led interventions, referrals, and maintaining electronic health records while collaborating with the ARTS team to support pregnant and postpartum patients navigating

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with patients and connecting them to resources.
• Preferred: CPFS/Peer Recovery credentials or progress toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Peer Specialist and educator to implement interventions for patients entering care via MMU or ARTS clinics.
• Identify problems in coordination of services and ensure effective patient care.
• Conduct peer-led interventions focusing on health education, care coordination, and reducing barriers to care.
• Provide case management, referrals, and link pregnant patients to prenatal treatment and care.
• Collaborate with supervisor and staff; participate in trainings and meetings; travel as needed.
• Maintain accurate records with electronic health records; document communications and patient data.
