Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors to support military service members. The role focuses on weekend coverage with some weekday requests under RHRP, serving at various locations including remote installations.

Active NP licensure, CPR/BLS, and experience in primary, urgent or occupational health are preferred. Prior military health familiarity is a plus; travel and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Comfort with travel and varying schedules.
• Knowledge of military systems and terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health histories and service member medical records.
• Interview personnel to identify medical concerns.
• Flag urgent or behavioral health issues for immediate action.
• Document results for readiness classification in the medical record.
