Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners as independent contractors to support military personnel through mobile clinics and fixed deployments. The role emphasizes performing health assessments, reviewing records, and interviewing service members on weekends with occasional weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) within the United States.

Applicants must hold an active NP license, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably experience in primary, urgent, or occupational

Qualifications

Must hold an active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS Certification required.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Ability to travel and work weekends, including remote military installations.
Experience with mobile medical services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
