Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors providing medical readiness services to military members. Most work is on weekends with some weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, across various installations.

Qualified candidates hold an active NP license in the state, CPR/BLS, and have experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health. No prescribing or diagnosing required; travel and flexible hours are expected to support readiness.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
