Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors serving military service members. Primarily weekends with some weekday shifts under RHRP in Texas, working on an as-needed basis across diverse locations including remote military installations.

Active NP license in the relevant state, CPR/BLS, and experience in primary/urgent/occupational health are valued. This role emphasizes readiness assessment, documentation in the client system, and effective communication with

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS certification.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high patient volumes.
Able to travel, weekend availability preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge and skills.
Not required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Responsibilities

Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine medical concerns.
Identify urgent concerns, including behavioral health.
Document interview results in the medical record using the proprietary system.
