Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors for military service members, primarily weekends with some weekday gapping under the RHRP. Positions span multiple locations, including remote military installations, with travel and extended hours as needed.

Active NP licensure in the state, CPR/BLS, and experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health are preferred. The role emphasizes medical readiness assessments and seamless documentation within our system.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record using the proprietary system.
