Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors, providing services to military service members. Primarily weekends with occasional weekdays under RHRP, serving multiple reserve components in the US. Background checks and E-Verify are part of the process.

Active NP license, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills are required. Prior primary/urgent/occupational health experience and mobility to work at remote installations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Adaptable to fast paced environments with high daily volume
• Able to travel and work weekends (preferred)
• Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system
