Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join us as independent contractors serving military service members. The role emphasizes weekend coverage with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), across various locations including remote installations.

You will perform health assessments, review medical histories, and interview service members to identify concerns, documenting results to support readiness classifications.

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Able to work in multiple locations including remote military installations.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classifications in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
