Job summary

DASCO HME LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble medical equipment, educate patients or caregivers on operation and maintenance, and perform related warehouse and inventory tasks. The role may require cross-training for office coverage and after-hours on-call shifts.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred residential delivery driving and healthcare customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in medical/insurance/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies and educate patients/caregivers on use and benefits.
• Maintain compliance logs and records per policy and procedure, HIPAA and related regulations.
• Handle after-hours coverage with fellow technicians as needed.
• Assist training of new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested by manager.
• Identify patient needs and revenue opportunities and relay them to Customer Service for follow-up.
• Maintain vehicle, inventory, and equipment cleanliness per policy.
