Job summary

DASCO Home Medical Equipment is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to provide timely delivery and setup of medical equipment, educate patients and caregivers on usage and safety, and perform related warehouse and inventory tasks.

The role requires driving to patient locations, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and occasional after-hours coverage. Strong customer service in a medical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in medical/insurance/healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients in homes and facilities.
• Educate patients or caregivers on equipment operation, maintenance and benefits.
• Maintain compliance logs and required records per policy and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, FDA, OSHA, etc.).
• Support after-hours coverage with other technicians as needed.
• Assist in training new Medical Equipment Technicians at the branch level.
• Identify patient needs and revenue opportunities and relay to Customer Service for follow-up.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and daily/quarterly manifests as required.
• Maintain warehouse/inventory of equipment and cleanliness according to policy.
