Job summary

DASCO Home Medical Equipment is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble medical devices, educate patients or caregivers on use, maintenance, and benefits, and complete required paperwork.

The role requires compliance with HIPAA and other regulations, after-hours on-call coverage, and active participation in inventory control, vehicle upkeep, and collaboration with the office team to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience in a medical/insurance/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers equipment and educates patients on use and upkeep.
• Maintains compliance logs and required records.
• Supports afterhours coverage and on-call shifts.
• Assists in training new Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Manages warehouse inventory and equipment upkeep.
• Identifies patient needs and reports opportunities to Customer Service.
