DASCO HME LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble medical equipment and supplies, educating patients or caregivers on use and maintenance, and completing required paperwork.

The role includes warehouse and inventory tasks, compliance with HIPAA and other regulations, and potential cross-training for office coverage. Expect full-time hours, with after-hours on-call and variable scheduling to serve patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience in medical/insurance/healthcare settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies, educates patients/caregivers on use and maintenance, and completes required paperwork.
• Maintains compliance logs and records per policy and procedure.
• Complies with HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA, and other regulations; reports safety issues.
• Supports after-hours coverage with other Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Assists in training new technicians as requested by the manager.
• Identifies patient needs and revenue opportunities and relays to Customer Service for follow-up.
• Supports vehicle maintenance and completes daily/quarterly manifests as required.
• Maintains warehouse/inventory levels and equipment cleanliness per policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned by branch manager.
