Job summary

DASCO HME LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble medical equipment, educate patients on usage, and perform warehouse and inventory tasks. The role emphasizes compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations and may involve cross-training for office coverage.

The position is full-time with regular hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM) and periodic after-hours on-call shifts, requiring frequent travel to patient residences and varying work environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies and educate patients on use and maintenance.
• Maintain compliance logs and records per policy.
• Adhere to HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA and related regulations.
• Provide afterhours on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Assist in training of new Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Identify patient needs and revenue opportunities for follow-up with Customer Service.
• Assist vehicle maintenance and complete daily/quarterly manifests.
• Maintain warehouse and inventory cleanliness and compliance.
