DASCO HME LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble medical equipment and supplies, educate patients and caregivers, and perform related warehouse and documentation tasks. The role requires adherence to HIPAA and safety regulations and may include after-hours on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience in medical/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies and completes all required paperwork.
• Educates patients and caregivers on use, maintenance and benefits of equipment.
• Maintains compliance logs and records per policy and HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA and other regulations.
• Provides afterhours on-call coverage as needed.
• Supports training of new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested by management.
• Identifies patient needs and revenue opportunities and reports to Customer Service for follow-up.
