Job summary

DASCO HME LLC in Ohio is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble equipment, educate patients, and perform related warehouse tasks. The role requires adherence to HIPAA, regulatory standards, and accurate documentation.

It may include after-hours on-call shifts and cross-training for office coverage. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and prior residential delivery or healthcare customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record per policy.
• Residential delivery driver experience and healthcare customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies; educate patients on use and care; complete required paperwork.
• Maintain compliance logs, records and receipts per policy.
• Follow HIPAA, FDA, OSHA and related regulations; report safety/compliance issues.
• Provide afterhours coverage with other technicians as scheduled.
• Assist in training new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested by management.
• Identify patient needs and convey revenue opportunities to Customer Service for follow-up.
• Support vehicle maintenance; complete daily/quarterly maintenance manifests.
• Maintain warehouse/inventory levels and equipment cleanliness per policy.
