Job summary

Dasco HME LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician in Ohio to deliver and assemble medical equipment, educate patients on usage and safety, and support warehouse and inventory tasks. The role includes after-hours on-call coverage and potential training of new technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Residential delivery driver experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience in medical/insurance/healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies, educates patient/caregiver on use and maintenance, and completes paperwork.
• Maintains compliance logs and applicable records per policy.
• Complies with HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA and related regulations; reports safety issues.
• Provides afterhours on-call coverage with other Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Trains new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested by management.
• Identifies patient needs and revenue opportunities for follow-up by Customer Service.
• Supports vehicle maintenance and completes maintenance manifests as required.
• Maintains warehouse, inventory levels, and equipment cleanliness per policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned by branch office manager.
