Job summary

DASCO HME LLC is hiring a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble medical equipment, educate patients on operation and safety, and handle related warehouse duties. The role requires strong attention to compliance and customer service with occasional after-hours on-call shifts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with preferred experience in residential deliveries and healthcare-related customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a medical/insurance/healthcare setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies and educates patients on use and maintenance.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains compliance logs.
• Complies with HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA, state boards and infection control guidelines.
• Provides afterhours on-call coverage as scheduled by the branch.
• Participates in training of new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested.
• Identifies patient needs and revenue opportunities for follow-up.
• Supports vehicle maintenance and daily loading/unloading.
• Maintains warehouse and inventory levels and equipment cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the branch office manager.
