Job summary

Tricon Residential is seeking a Construction Technician II to perform cleanup, repair, and replacement of household items across vacant properties to ensure a safe and attractive living environment for residents. The role includes plumbing, electrical, window and door repairs, HVAC filter changes, and Smart Home installations, with emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
5 years maintenance/construction background.
Ability to work on-call and overtime hours, as needed.
Must be able to lift objects weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
Experience leveraging technology (laptop, iPad, iPhones, etc.).

Responsibilities

Respond and complete service requests in a professional and timely manner.
Repair or replace faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, clear drain lines, and other minor plumbing repairs.
Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, breakers, GFCIs, 3-way switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans and other minor electrical repairs.
Install complete Smart Home systems.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Accurately fill out time sheets and enter data into work order system.
