Job summary

Tricon Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform maintenance requests on occupied homes within the assigned geographic territory, delivering a consistent, high‑quality service experience to residents. The role emphasizes timely, professional communication with residents, team members, and vendors, and requires reliable use of the company’s work order system.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other minor repairs; safe work practices; and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years maintenance/construction background.
• Daily travel between properties.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests on occupied homes within the geographic territory.
• Repair or replace faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, disposals.
• Repair electrical outlets, switches, breakers, GFCIs, and lighting.
• Repair windows, doors, cabinetry, and hardware.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and use PPE.
