Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Houston, TX is seeking a Floating Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations, manage make-readies, and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations across the property.

You will mentor the maintenance team, monitor safety, handle emergencies, and coordinate with the property manager to keep costs within budget while delivering clean, well-maintained living spaces for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and ensure unit make-ready standards.
• Review service requests and identify chronic issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues per Avenue5 policy.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Inspect property grounds and safety to identify issues requiring maintenance or replacement.
• Manage emergencies and on-call rotation as needed.
