Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to service commercial kitchen equipment across Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey. The role includes electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs, with travel between sites on a company vehicle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hospitality maintenance, proficiency with kitchen equipment, and a valid driver’s license. Will work in a dynamic team benefiting from company van, phone, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in hospitality/restaurant settings.
• Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Familiarity with commercial electrical (single & 3 phase 120/208V).
• Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, tile work and related repairs.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and valid driver’s license (min 25 years old).
• Comfort working in varying climates and with maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen equipment, small appliances, and minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Coordinate repairs within approved budget.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and records.
• Travel to Travel Plazas in Delaware/New Jersey to repair and maintain facility items.
• Other duties as assigned.
