Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires experience in restaurant/hospitality maintenance, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, and ability to travel between sites using a company vehicle.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in restaurant/hospitality maintenance.
Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
Familiarity with commercial electrical systems (120/208V, single & 3-phase).

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair small appliances and kitchen equipment; electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks.
Ensure equipment is safe to operate and within budget.
Travel to Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey to service sites.
