Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey. The role includes electrical, plumbing, and minor carpentry to keep facilities running smoothly.

Travel between sites is required; a maintenance van and company cell phone are provided. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in restaurant or hospitality maintenance and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Familiar with commercial electrical (single & 3 phase 120,208 voltages).
• Skilled in plumbing (faucet and toilet repair, sink drain fix), painting, drywall repair/patching.
• Carpentry skills (cabinet repair, laminates, countertops, doors).
• Must be 25+ years old with a valid driver7s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and related systems across Travel Plazas.
• Inspect, diagnose, and perform repairs and maintenance on all food service equipment.
• Travel to Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey to repair facilities.
• Coordinate repairs within approved budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule and records.
• Operate a computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
