Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to service commercial kitchen equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems across Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey. You will perform repairs, maintain safety standards, and manage preventative maintenance records.

The role includes travel between sites, operate a company vehicle and use a maintenance management system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Familiar with commercial electrical systems (single & 3 phase 120/208V).
• Skilled in plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, and carpentry repairs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; minimum 25 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair restaurant/hospitality kitchen equipment and small appliances.
• Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Coordinate repairs within budget guidelines.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records.
• Travel to Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
