Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to perform general maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment across Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey. You will inspect, diagnose, and fix equipment, ensuring safety and cost-efficient operation.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in the restaurant/hospitality industry, with experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on maintenance experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Familiar with commercial electrical (single & 3-phase, 120/208V).
• Plumbing, painting, drywall, tile work, carpentry skills.
• Must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and small appliances.
• Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Coordinate repairs within budget guidelines.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records.
• Travel to Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey to perform repairs.
