Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across Travel Plazas in Delaware and New Jersey. You will handle electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks while traveling in-company vehicles.

The role requires 3+ years in hospitality maintenance, familiarity with commercial kitchen systems, and a valid driver's license. A CMMS helps manage work orders and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Experience in repairing commercial kitchen equipment and appliances is required.
• Must be familiar with commercial electrical (single & 3 phase 120,208 voltages)
• Skilled in plumbing (faucet and toilet repair, sink drain fix), painting, repairing and patching drywall, tile installation, and repair.
• Carpentry skills (basic carpentry for repairing cabinets, laminates, countertops, door repairs & adjustments).
• To operate a company vehicle, the applicants MUST be a minimum of 25 years old and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain small appliances, kitchen equipment, and minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Ensure that all equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Coordinate repairs within approved budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule and records.
• Travel to various Travel Plazas in Delaware/New Jersey to repair and maintain all facility-related items.
• Other duties as assigned.
