Job summary

Virginia Department of Health is seeking a Medical Facilities Inspector to conduct state and federal surveys of nursing facilities and other long-term care providers. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct state and federal surveys of nursing facilities and long-term care providers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate complaints, incidents, and Immediate Jeopardy situations; review records and policies.
• Prepare Statements of Deficiencies and Plans of Correction; participate in revisits and monitoring.
