Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults across Massachusetts. You will evaluate, treat, and supervise under a licensed Physical Therapist, working in patients' homes or independent living settings with a flexible schedule.

The role offers Full-Time (30-40 hours/week) or Part-Time (24 hours/week) options, competitive pay between $35.00 and $44.00 per hour, and opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, and visa

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy, under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.
• Works with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Maintains appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
