Job summary

JLL in Austin, TX seeks an experienced maintenance technician to operate, inspect and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. The role emphasizes energy efficiency, safety, and reliable equipment performance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage work orders in Corrigo, and support building operations with strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Four years of building engineering experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical trades.
• Two years of trades school or apprenticeship in electrical/HVAC/plumbing preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required; 3rd party certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and building equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Inspect interior/exterior areas, framing, lighting and fixtures as assigned.
• Use CMMS (Corrigo) to update work orders and track status.
• Support safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
