Job summary

Johnson Controls in Midland/Odessa is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to support residential and ducted systems, chillers and AHUs. You will participate in startup, commissioning and aftermarket service, and you’ll earn through a union-aligned pay range with robust safety programs.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience, EPA refrigerant license, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel 10–20%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of practical experience on residential or ducted HVAC systems including air‑cooled or water‑cooled chillers.
• Must hold Universal EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel 10–20% and pass knowledge examination.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service activities for the North America HVAC business.
• Provide solutions and recommendations to improve facility performance and efficiency.
• Prepare quotes for customers and communicate issues, causes, and corrective actions clearly.
• Work with local market mechanics and adhere to safety standards.
