Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support our fast-growing North American HVAC business. You will work with commercial products, air- and water-cooled chillers, and receive STA factory certification along with rewards and advancement opportunities.

Role requires 3–5 years of HVAC/R experience, the ability to repair centrifugal compressors and chiller components, and a valid EPA refrigerants license. Travel up to 20% and a strong safety focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC/R experience, with direct chiller experience preferred.
• Able to repair centrifugal compressors and screw chillers system components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues.
• Perform refrigerant leak detection, recovery, evacuation, charging, and documentation in EPA compliance.
• Travel may be required 10% to 20% to support startup, commissioning and aftermarket service.

Responsibilities

• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, delivering solutions at commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while working with HVAC systems and controls.
