Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking a Generator Mechanic/Service Technician to travel to customers’ residences, perform repairs and preventive maintenance on whole-home standby generators, and communicate findings clearly.

Using a company vehicle, you will read manuals and diagrams, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and update service records in our software. The role emphasizes safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Problem-solving, organization and initiative.
• Ability to read and understand manuals, diagrams and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer’s residence using company vehicle.
• Communicate arrival, work performed and issues resolved to customers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain home generators.
• Follow manuals, diagrams, blueprints and procedures.
