Job summary
A leading provider of energy solutions is seeking a Generator Mechanic/Service Technician to perform repair and maintenance on home standby generators. You will travel to customer residences using a company vehicle, utilizing your mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure top-notch service while adhering to safety requirements. Strong customer service skills are essential, and you'll be expected to document services electronically. Previous experience with small engines and electrical wiring is preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience with mechanical small engine repair work.
- Experience with electrical wiring.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer's residence using company vehicle.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding work performance.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain customer's home generator.
- Follow technical instruction manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
