Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider in Tyler, Texas, is seeking a Generator Mechanic/Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair on home standby generators. Responsibilities include traveling to customer locations using a company vehicle, troubleshooting and repairing generators, and documenting service performed. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Experience in small engine repair is also necessary for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with mechanical small engine repair work.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer’s residence using company vehicle.
• Repair and perform maintenance on the customer’s home generator.
• Document services performed using an electronic software system.
