Job summary
Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. This hands-on role suits someone with automotive, electrical, or installation background who likes learning new technology.
You will travel to customer sites for mobile installations, work with fleet technology, and contribute to safe, right-first-time projects.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with automotive systems, electrical work, or installation tasks.
- Ability to read basic vehicle electrical systems and perform diagnostics.
- Familiarity with telematics or fleet technology installations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
- Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
- Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and routing for clean installations.
- Test system functionality and document installations with photos and notes.
- Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects.
