Job summary
Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, and sensors across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. This hands-on role requires knowledge of 12V/24V wiring, proofreading wiring diagrams, and traveling to customer sites for mobile installs.

Qualifications
- Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in mobile environments.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
- Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers and other fleet assets.
- Perform 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, and trailer connections.
- Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
- Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
- Document installations with photos, device info, and service notes.
- Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
