Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet tech across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. This hands-on role suits someone with automotive, electrical, or installation background who enjoys working with vehicles and learning new tech.

You will travel to customer sites for mobile installations, perform 12V/24V wiring, and ensure safe, high-quality right-first-time results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive and fleet installation experience.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and follow instructions.
• Comfort with electrical and diagnostic tasks on vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet tech in various vehicles.
• Perform 12V/24V wiring and ensure clean, safe installations.
• Route and secure wiring for professional results.
• Test system functionality and diagnose installation issues.
• Document work with photos and service notes; travel to customer sites as needed.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
