Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring an Automotive Installation Technician to install GPS, telematics, cameras, and sensors on cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. The role involves hands-on electrical and installation work with travel to customer sites in a mobile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Detail-oriented with quality focus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, and sensors.
• Service light-duty cars, trucks, trailers, and fleet assets.
• Do 12V/24V wiring: power, ignition, ground, diagnostics.
• Route and secure wiring for clean installs.
• Test system connectivity and camera/sensor function.
• Diagnose electrical and installation issues.
• Document installations with photos and notes.
• Travel to customer locations for mobile installs.
• Focus on safety, quality, right-first-time installations.
