Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across vehicles and trailers. This role involves 12V/24V wiring, testing systems, and traveling to customer sites for mobile installations.

The position welcomes hands-on automotive/installation experience, with opportunities to grow through ASE/I-CAR training, and provides a path to advanced fleet technology expertise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Test system functionality and diagnose installation issues.
• Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
• Maintain safety and right-first-time installations.
