Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, performing wiring and diagnostic tasks while traveling to customer sites for mobile installations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on automotive or electrical experience and can read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and route wiring for clean installations.
• Test system functionality and document installations with photos and service notes.
