Job summary
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions - External is seeking a Field Service Technician to independently service retail store technologies and computer systems. You will install, support, and repair Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA retail equipment across store environments, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time delivery of services.
You will travel nationally to installations and upgrades, diagnose complex issues, and document activities precisely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience. IT/Technical degree or certificate preferred.
- Must be willing to travel 100% domestically. Air travel may be required for installations.
- Operates on PC technology, network basics, and retail devices; solid troubleshooting and repair skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and services on products in assigned territory or nationally.
- Install, relocate, discontinue, and modify retail POS equipment as needed.
- Communicate status, issues, and customer satisfaction to management and customers.
- Document installation activities and mileage logs per Toshiba standards.
- Maintain trunk stock to support customers and assist other team members.
