Job summary

Quadient is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upgrade mailroom, software, and locker equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, train customers on proper operation, and identify opportunities to improve their experience.

Travel to diverse locations is required; you will maintain service tools and inventory, document issues, and provide recommendations for additional products or services. This is a hybrid role with both on-site and remote work possibilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
1-2 years in electrical or mechanical installation and repair.
1-2 years of customer service experience with strong communication skills.
Ability to diagnose, repair equipment, and solve problems independently.
Willingness to travel up to 100% to customer sites with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Install, service, or upgrade equipment onsite at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and offer technical recommendations.
Provide training and guidance on product operation and maintenance.
Perform routine maintenance and manage stock of replacement parts.
Document technical issues for escalation and evaluate customer needs for additional products or services.
