Job summary

Crownstone Equipment is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment across branches. The role involves traveling to sites, providing technical guidance, and mentoring service teams in both shop and field settings.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid MD/PA CDL, and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills. DOT physical will be required.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience as a technician in heavy construction or diesel equipment.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (MD and PA) and ability to pass an annual DOT physical.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• General knowledge and familiarity with computer and information systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Safely operate a company vehicle to travel between branches and job sites.
• Inspect machinery and identify problems using diagnostics.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with safe practices.
• Document all work in CDK with labor, parts, and repair summaries.
