Job summary

Crownstone Equipment is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment across multiple branches in PA and surrounding regions. The role involves travel to job sites, hands-on problem-solving, and supporting service teams in both shop and field settings.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in heavy equipment, a CDL license, and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience with heavy construction or diesel equipment.
• Valid CDL license (MD and PA) and ability to pass DOT physical.
• Strong troubleshooting for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• General knowledge of computer systems and software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Travel between branches and job sites in a company service vehicle.
• Inspect machinery, identify problems, and perform repairs.
• Document work in the CDK system with labor, parts, and repair summaries.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other technicians.
• Maintain tools, shop equipment, and clean work areas.
• Attend training sessions to improve technical skills.
